After a long winter stuck at home due to various lockdowns, the time has come to start spring cleaning and preparing for brighter days (physically and metaphorically!).
Sometimes deep cleaning your house can feel like an overwhelming experience, and it’s difficult to know what to do in each room, or where to start. Our cleaning checklist template can help make spring cleaning that bit more relaxing with a room-by-room guide to cleaning your home.

Deep clean your oven, stovetop, microwave and other appliances
Throw away old/expired food from your cupboards, fridge and freezer
Mop the floors (move the fridge and mop behind it, too)
Remove items and wash the insides of your cabinets
Deep clean the inside of your fridge and freezer, and wash the outside
Dust high surfaces- tops of cabinets, fridge etc
Reorganise cabinets, and make the most of your storage space
Wipe walls and sanitise surfaces
Polish any silverware
Empty and wash out bins
Vacuum and shampoo carpets
Dust and polish furniture, and wash any mirrors/ decorative items
Vacuum any upholstered furniture such as sofas and chairs
Wash blankets and pillows
Wash windows and clean window sills
Dust blinds, curtain rods and lamp shades
